Co-Creation – A CIC Continued Professional Development (CPD) Event
When we design services or innovate new products or services we often use co-creation techniques, but what is co-creation and how can SME’s identify the challenges and opportunities through co-creation?
This workshop will help you understand co-creation, use a Business Model Canvas and find new opportunities through co-creation, and expand your knowledge on design thinking practices and theories.
Co-creation is often seen in a B2C context but this one day workshop looks at B2B co-creation, which entails developing corporate/business partnerships to identify effective ways of working together using innovation and deign techniques to develop new services and products or radical and disruptive concepts.
Throughout the day you will share and debate your own products, services, customers and ambitions and utilise business modelling to discover new markets.
Through co-creation you will also gain this benefit across two or more teams. As well as the real possibility of new business breakthroughs, participants also learn about and gain confidence in using co-creation themselves. So, they might start engaging with customers in the way that other successful innovative companies have successfully done, or using the process with suppliers, their own staff or colleagues.
This workshop provides a ‘guided’ process with participants, generating ideas, discussing the concepts with experts and then creating the beginnings of a ‘value proposition’ for teams to implement.
Who’s It For
Though this workshop has a creative industries focus it does include cross-sector thinking and therefore is open to any business or SME. It is ideal for small-medium sized businesses that wish to develop new relationships and ideas to advance their business.
